Our self-managed community has 352 single-family homes built beside Garrisons Lake near Cheswold and Smyrna.
Carrington Park, shown to the right, is our largest park and has the playground. Winterton Park, shown above, is a great space for games. Photo credit: Amber Stanley
Lakeshore Village borders the north and east sides of the largest open area shown in the lower center of the photo, with easy access to Route 13.
We are fortunate to have a large natural aspect to our community. We abut Garrisons Lake's south border. Teeming with wildlife, this calm lake is perfect for canoeing and small watercraft, with a boat ramp and parking lot. You'll see eagles, heron, and the occasional deer. Enjoy fishing for sunfish, bass, and crappie.
Within the boundaries of Lakeshore Village, you'll find several of our retention ponds are great for fishing, spotting turtles, frogs, eagles, and heron. Our peaceful woodland trail inside our conservation area provides more immersion in nature. A woodland walk is close to home and a nice way to keep active!
