A favorite pond for fishing and turtle watching. This pond is shallow and home to many turtles. It is often visited by Great Blue Heron.
A Great Blue Heron patiently hunts his prey as a turtle lounges nearby.
A Green Heron popped by to survey the pond for lunch. We hope he was successful!

Our Woodland Trail is approximately 1/2 mile long, meandering through woods, around ponds, and open spaces. The trail begins on the northwest part of our property at the pumping station (please walk along the wooded edge and do not cut through the homeowner's property). The trail extends to Messina Hill Road with openings at the north Osbourne Lane pond and the top of Carrington Loop, picking up again on the north side of the Carrington/Carlton pond. Please stay to the northern edge and be respectful of private properties that border the trail entrances and exits.
Access the boat ramp from Messina Hill Road.
